Description
The Palacio Euskalduna Convention Centre was opened in 1999, where the former shipyards of the same name were situated. The building symbolises the last ship built at the Euskalduna shipyards, and it is an enormous multifunctional complex of 53,000 square metres located in the heart of the city.
The building is within the Abandoibarra area by the Euskalduna Bridge, in the Ribera De Deusto. The Palacio Euskalduna represents the consolidation of musical activity and conferences, and links the city with the professional, trade and service sectors.
With a main auditorium holding 2,000 seats, the Euskalduna has three minor halls, eight rehearsal rooms, seven conference halls and press rooms, as well as additional facilities (coffee-bar, restaurant, commercial gallery, etc.).
